Coach Paul Jackson
Coach Paul Jackson, owner of Royal Stixx Baseball Academy, is a highly respected coach, mentor, and hitting instructor with a deep passion for baseball. With over 20 years of experience, he has become a trusted figure in the baseball community, helping athletes of all levels grow both on and off the field. Known for his personalized approach, Coach Jackson focuses on developing not just physical skills, but also mental strength, teamwork, and character. His work with Georgia Premier Academy and dedication to empowering young athletes globally has left a lasting impact, inspiring many to achieve their full potential.

Coach JB Wendelken
J.B. Wendelken is a professional pitcher from Savannah, Georgia, with over a decade of experience at the highest levels of baseball. Drafted by the Boston Red Sox in 2012, he went on to pitch in the Major Leagues for the Oakland Athletics and Arizona Diamondbacks, where he became known for his strong fastball, sharp breaking pitches, and ability to perform in high-pressure situations. In 2020, he stood out with a 1.80 ERA over 21 games for Oakland, proving himself as a reliable arm out of the bullpen. His career also demonstrates resilience—overcoming Tommy John surgery in 2017 to return stronger than ever.
Most recently, JB excelled in Japan’s Nippon Professional Baseball with the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, posting back-to-back dominant seasons, including helping lead his team to a Japan Series Championship in 2024. With both MLB and international success, he brings a wealth of pitching knowledge, mechanics expertise, and mental toughness to his coaching. Parents can be confident that their athletes will learn from someone who has competed and succeeded at the game’s highest level while also valuing hard work, consistency, and perseverance.
Coach Andrew Mascis
Coach Andrew played collegiate baseball at Franklin & Marshall College, excelling as both a starting pitcher and closer. As a freshman, he set the Centennial Conference single-season saves record, and the following year, went on to break the career saves record. By the time he graduated, Andrew was a 3x All-Centennial Conference selection, finishing with a career ERA of 3.07, 104 strikeouts over 137.2 innings, and was named to the F&M All-Decade Team as a relief pitcher.
Over the past seven years, Coach Andrew has provided personal instruction to players of all ages, helping athletes develop both their skills and confidence on the field. From 2021 to 2025, he served as the General Manager of In The Zone Baseball and Softball, where he managed more than 20 teams and trained hundreds of players across all aspects of the game.
